A life of ease is a difficult pursuit.---William Cowper

Well in that case
A highway patrolman pulls along a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he is astonished to see that the woman behind the wheel is knitting! Realizing that she is oblivious to his flashing lights, the trooper cranks down his window, turns on his bull horn and yells, “Pull over!”
“No!” Helga shouts back. “Dis iss a scarf!”

We judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing, while others judge us by what we have already done.---Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.---Oprah Winfrey

Consensus
Gladys Dunn was new in town and decided to visit the church closest to her apartment. She appreciated the pretty sanctuary and the music by the choir, but the sermon went on and on. Worse, it wasn’t interesting.
Finally it was over. She turned to a still sleepy looking Ole sitting next to her, extended her hand and said, “I’m Gladys Dunn.”
Ole repled, “Yew and me boat!”
